A. Wright Barlow Pocket Knife Buffalo 60B
Hand made in Sheffield England, A. Wright pocket knives have a very strong back spring when new. This makes these pocket knives safer to use as work knives which will not accidentally close very easily. The blade springs gradually wear in over time and the knives become easier to open and close.
7 cm, (2.75 inches) long, 2.5 mm thick, high polish, C70 carbon steel, clip point blade. Rounded, nickel silver bolsters, brass handle liners, polished buffalo horn handle scales.
Carbon steel pocket knives generally hold a better edge than stainless steel knives, but need to be cleaned and oiled after use to prevent corrosion. Surface corrosion can be removed with fine emery cloth.
