Barlow Pocket Knife – A. Wright Knives Sheffield

Designed over 300 years ago in Sheffield, England, the Barlow folding pocket knife was originally a large, single blade, low cost work tool. The metal handle bolster was extended to approximately one third of the length of the handle to strengthen the pivot.

Also available with rounded bolster, the A. Wright folding Barlow pocket knife measures 16 cm (6.3 inches) open, with a 7.2 cm (2.75 inches) long, 2.3 mm thick, flat grind, C70 carbon steel blade.

The rosewood handle has a flat surface with chamfered edges. The thickest end of the handle measures 1.4 cm thick, tapering down to 0.99 cm thick at the bolster end.

A. Wright pocket knives are hand made in Sheffield, England with a high standard of quality control at each step of the process.
